ABOUT
Interior designer Ali Doostdar has been working on interior design & architecture for over 12 years and worked with Australian design firms for about 6 years. Ali has finished his bachelor of interior design at Swinburne University of technology in Melbourne.
While living in Australia he has been working as an interior designer, drafter and 3D visualizer with HASSELL Studio, ZONE Design, Sarris Architecture in the city of Melbourne and working as a freelancer with architects, interior designers and builders to work on residential and commercial projects.
Consequently, Ali over the years has designed and worked on many interior & building design projects such as ANZ bank, The University of New Castle, Toyota, Schnitz, Nando’s, Ferguson Plarre, Australian Super, etc. In 2018 he successfully finished design documentation of 12 Shavershop stores in Australia.
After returning to Iran he continued working with Australian firms as a freelancer & designed & constructed local projects in Iran. Also he worked as the design director for entrepreneurship development for villages of Iran supported by the united nations (UNDP & UNIDO).
In 2013 he won the Best Digital Exploration award in interior design program for re-modelling the Gherkin Building of London via Revit Architecture.
In addition to his design expertise, he has been an opera singer with Melbourne Opera Company and Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra.
